Sugar update week 3
Well.. Its been 3 weeks since I cut of my sugary habits.. I have to say.. OH MY GOD!.. Lets be real here.. I was tipping over 300lbs.. I know.. I was even starting to look overweight..
I’m going to need to buy new clothes soon.. no really.. Good thing I have a box of old clothes somewhere around here..
I have to say that I have been feeling better.. but today I put on my NET teams vest.. its a 2XL that has shrunk a little.. I really like it, but over the winter I realized it really did not fit anymore.. I was starting to look into 3XL clothes.. that’s when I said I had enough!
Anyway so Back to the vest.. IT FITS! Not only does it Fit.. It fits well.. My jackets are loose, I keep drawing back my belt.. And Honestly I am NOT exercising I just don’t have the Time I need to do that yet.. BUT.. That does not mean I am not dropping pounds.. I am still eating mostly the same.. but remember that Molli has been cooking mostly Paleo for us for quite a while now.. BUT I am no longer getting those EVIL pies… and I am not adding sugar to my coffee.. I am label reading.. And I have allowed my self a sweet treat every week.. Last week it was a couple spoons of honey whipped peanut butter that sadly had extra sugar in it.. But other then that all my sugar consumption has been of the good kinds of sugars, Veggies, fruits etc..
I am primary sweetening with honey.. I like honey.. We buy whole organic raw honey when we can..
Not long ago our friend Tj was staying with us.. I knew he cut out the sugar from his diet a few years ago.. I had not seen him in that time.. DUDE.. It really brought it home for me that such a HUGE percentage of my weight problem was sugar based..
First I am kicking sugars ass! and NEXT its going to be refined grains..
